Augmentation rhinoplasty in Middle Eastern Noses; How to achieve an ideal profile projection and shape.
09-11, 10:45–11:15 (Europe/Istanbul), Facial Plastic 2

Rhinoplasty surgery for Arabic noses showed an increased demand, especially in the Middle East. Most Arabic noses do not need augmentation rhinoplasty as they mostly have good projection.

Most Arabic noses have excellent projection, but when we look at the profile view, some patients have some irregularity in this view, which may be corrected with augmentation rhinoplasty, either complete or segmental augmentation, aiming at improving cosmetic appearance. However, some cases with significant Nasal trauma or post-nasal surgery that resulted in saddle deformity also need correction, varying in size and thickness depending on the type of saddle deformity.

In this presentation, I will explain different types of saddle nose deformity with surgical management and some surgical cases as an example of each type.
