Dr Paresh P. Naik is an ENT surgeon specialising in adult and paediatric rhinology and endoscopic skull-base surgery. He underwent advanced fellowship training in rhinology, skull-base surgery, and head and neck surgery in the United Kingdom and Italy, followed by a Diploma in Skull Base Surgery in Paris.

He serves as a Paediatric Skull Base Lead in Mumbai and has extensive experience in complex adult and paediatric rhinology and skull-base procedures. His clinical interests include endoscopic CSF leak repair, sinonasal and skull-base tumours, pituitary surgery, frontal sinus surgery, and paediatric skull-base pathology.

Dr Naik is a Board Member of the International Committee of the European Rhinologic Society. He was a member of the Rhinology Scientific Committee for CEORL-HNS 2026 and serves on the Scientific Committee for EndoGoa 2028. He is also a reviewer for several international peer-reviewed journals.

Deeply committed to surgical education, mentorship, and fellowship training, he founded the Mumbai Sinus & Skull Base Academy and the Rhino–Skull Base Masterclass to make advanced surgical education more accessible to young ENT surgeons.

He graduated from Tirunelveli Medical College, Tirunelveli in 2000 and obtained his DLO from Madurai Medical College, Madurai in 2004. He qualified the Diplomate of National Board Exams from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi in 2007. He is a Consultant ENT surgeon at Madras ENT Research Foundation and a teaching faculty in MERF & MERF Institute of Speech and Hearing.

His interest is in the field of Implantation Otology, Sleep Disorders and Obstructive Sleep Apnoea and he heads this department. He is a member of the World Sleep Society. He has organized Many Live Surgical Workshop on Obstructive Sleep Apnoea. As a Joint Secretary, he has conducted the 63rd Annual National Conference of Otolaryngologists of India AOICON2011 at Chennai. He has conducted the First National Conference on Snoring and Sleep Disorders IASSACON2013 at Chennai and First National Conference of Indian Academy of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (IAOHNS2014).

He has had special training in Sleep-Related Breathing Disorders, at Euro Sleep Clinic, Bergen, Norway. He has presented many papers in the International World Sleep Congress.

He has conducted Instructional courses on Sleep Apnoea in International Federation of Otorhinolaryngology IFOS2013, Korea and also in the 5th International World Sleep Congress at Valencia, Spain. He has been invited as an Instructor for the Hands-on Training and Cadaver Dissection course for OSA at Singapore General Hospital, Singapore. He has been invited as a Faculty to participate in Panel Discussions and to deliver Guest Lectures in various National and International conferences.

He is the only Indian as the International Scientific Committee member in World Congress on Sleep Medicine and is the Founder Secretary of Indian Association of Surgeons for Sleep Apnoea (IASSA), Indian Academy of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (IAOHNS), Indian Society for Facial Trauma, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery of Otorhinolaryngologists (ISFARO).

 

He is the reviewer of various International journals like International Journal of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology and is an Editorial Board member of Austin's International Journal of Sleep Disorders.

Dr Sandeep is the current President of Indian Association of Surgeons for Sleep Apnea (IASSA).

He has received advanced training in sleep medicine and sleep surgery at Mayo Clinic, Rochester (USA), Singapore General Hospital, and Technical University Munich, Germany.

He works extensively on Optic nerve Fenestration for Idiopathic intracranial hypertension and CVT and traumtic optic neuropathy.

Dr. Bansal is member of the International Sleep Surgery Society, and Editor-in-Chief of the Annals of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery, the official journal of Indian Academy of Otolaryngology and Head Neck Surgery.

He is a regular invited faculty member at national and international scientific meetings and has conducted numerous workshops and live surgical demonstrations in sleep surgery.

He has authored more than 80 peer-reviewed indexed publications, serves as a reviewer for several international journals, and has received multiple academic awards, including the P. Chatterjee Gold Medal and the SBS Mann Gold Medal.

I have been in private practice in ENT from 1995. Presently President of the Association of Phonosugeons of India. Former President and presently member of the Governing council of the Indian academy of otolaryngology ,head and neck surgery.

Have written chapters in 4 text books.
