<p>Dr. Sandeep Bansal, MS (ENT), FAMS, FIMSA,</p>
<p>Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at PGIMER, Chandigarh, India, where he serves as Incharge of the Sleep Laboratory and Additional Medical Superintendent (NHE).</p>
<p>His principal areas of interest include Obstructive sleep apnea, Sleep surgery, Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery.</p>
<p>Dr Sandeep is the current President of Indian Association of Surgeons for Sleep Apnea (IASSA).</p>
<p>He has received advanced training in sleep medicine and sleep surgery at Mayo Clinic, Rochester (USA), Singapore General Hospital, and Technical University Munich, Germany.</p>
<p>He works extensively on Optic nerve Fenestration for Idiopathic intracranial hypertension and CVT and traumtic optic neuropathy.</p>
<p>Dr. Bansal is member of the International Sleep Surgery Society, and Editor-in-Chief of the Annals of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery, the official journal of Indian Academy of Otolaryngology and Head Neck Surgery.</p>
<p>He is a regular invited faculty member at national and international scientific meetings and has conducted numerous workshops and live surgical demonstrations in sleep surgery.</p>
<p>He has authored more than 80 peer-reviewed indexed publications, serves as a reviewer for several international journals, and has received multiple academic awards, including the P. Chatterjee Gold Medal and the SBS Mann Gold Medal.</p>
