I am an Associate Professor of Otorhinolaryngology at Acıbadem University School of Medicine in Istanbul, Turkey. I completed my medical degree and ENT residency at Ankara University and hold a master's degree in Audiology and Speech Disorders. A am a Fellow of the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. My clinical interests include laryngology, voice and swallowing disorders, and HPV-related head and neck diseases.

Born in 1980 in Istanbul, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ceki Paltura graduated from Istanbul Nişantaşı Anatolian High School in 1998. Between 1998-2004, he received his medical education at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in English. Between 2005-2010, he completed he specialty training at Istanbul Taksim Training and Research Hospital in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. He prepared his specialty thesis on “Subjective and Objective Evaluation of the Change in Voice Quality of Patients with Allergic Rhinitis Following Treatment with Nasal Steroid and Antihistamine Combination.” After his specialization, he fulfilled his military service in Erzurum Mareşal Çakmak Military Hospital and his compulsory service in Kastamonu Taşköprü Hospital. He worked at Haseki Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul between 2013-15 and at Gaziosmanpaşa Taksim Training and Research Hospital between 2015-2021. In 2020, he received the title of Associate Professor at Gaziosmanpaşa Taksim Training and Research Hospital. He fulfilled the duties of Education Officer and Administrative Responsibility in the same hospital. Currently he is workin at Uskudar University ENT Deprartment and his clinic.
Ana Penezic, MD, PhD is a Croatian otorhinolaryngologist and phoniatrician. She works at the University Hospital Center Sestre milosrdnice in Zagreb and serves as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Croatian Catholic University, where she teaches otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery.
Dr. Penezić completed her medical degree and doctoral studies at the University of Zagreb School of Medicine. She is a Fellow of the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (FEBORL-HNS) and an examiner for the European ORL board examination. Her clinical and research interests include rhinology, laryngology, and voice disorders.
She has authored and co-authored more than 20 scientific publications and actively participated in more than 30 congess meetings. She is actively involved in international research projects, professional societies, and scientific meetings in the field of otorhinolaryngology.
Prof. Dr. Engin Dursun was born in 1968 in Erzurum, Türkiye. He graduated from Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1991. After completing his residency training in Otorhinolaryngology at the Ankara Training and Research Hospital, Ministry of Health, in 1995, he worked as a Specialist Physician at the same institution until 2000.
Between 2000 and 2001, Dr. Dursun worked as a Senior Specialist Physician at the 3rd Department of Otorhinolaryngology of the Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital, Ministry of Health. Between 2001 and 2003, he served as Deputy Chief of Clinic in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at the Ankara Oncology Training and Research Hospital; and between 2003 and 2011, he continued in the same position at the 3rd Department of Otorhinolaryngology of the Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital. Between 2011 and 2012, he worked as an Instructor Physician in the same department.
Between 2002 and 2003, he completed a Clinical Fellowship in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA.
He was appointed Associate Professor in 2005 and promoted to Professor in 2012.
In 2012, he joined the Faculty of Medicine at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University. Between 2012 and 2021, he served as Head of the Department and as Educational and Administrative Director of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at the Training and Research Hospital. He also served as Head of the Department of Surgical Medical Sciences, Chairman of the Committee for Specialty Medical Education and Coordination, and as a Founding Board Member of the Undergraduate Medical Education Simulation Center.
In 2021, he was appointed as a faculty member in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Lokman Hekim University. He is currently serving at the same institution and continues his duties as Director of the ViTAL (Virtual Training and Learning for Healthcare) Simulation Center; Board Member of the Center for the Treatment, Application, and Research of Cleft Lip and Palate and Related Anomalies (DUDAMER); Advisory Faculty Member of the Center for Innovation in Healthcare and Simulation-Based Education (SİNERG); and Member of the Advisory Board of the Lokman Hekim Health Science Journal. Between 2021 and 2025, he also served as Head of the Department, Clinical Sciences Coordinator for Undergraduate Medical Education, and Year 5 Coordinator.
He has taken active roles in numerous professional societies in Türkiye and currently serves as a Member of the Executive Board and Chair of the Schools Committee of the Turkish Society of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. He is also the President of the Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery Association (Ankara) and a member of the General Council of the Turkish Board of Certification in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.
His special areas of interest include endoscopic surgery (endoscopic sinus surgery and endoscopic ear surgery), nasal polyposis, head and neck cancers, and medical education with a focus on simulation-based training.
