<p>Prof. Dr. Mirjana Gnjatić</p> <p>Born in Banja Luka, where she finished elementary school and high school. In 1984, she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where she continued her academic training and obtained a master's degree in 2006, and then a PhD in 2013 in the field of phoniatry, dealing with voice and speech problems, where the topics of pseudotumor of the larynx and hoarseness, as well as topics in the field of vocal cord paralysis and related issues were covered. She gained many years of experience in otorhinolaryngology as a clinical physician at the University Clinical Center in Banja Luka, working as a children's otorhinolaryngologist.</p> <p>Employed at UKC Banjaluka since 1991.</p> <p>He has been teaching and researching at the Faculty of Medicine in Banja Luka since 1996, first as a senior assistant, then assistant professor and associate professor, while today he is the head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology.</p> <p>Participant and lecturer at a large number of national and international congresses, symposiums and projects.</p> <p>Mentor at the first and second cycle of academic studies in the field of otorhinolaryngology.</p> <p>Author of a large number of scientific papers published in domestic and international journals of scientific importance.</p> <p>Author of textbooks and practicums used in the study program in the subject of otolaryngology at the Faculty of Medicine in Banja Luka.</p> <p>Co-author of the monograph "Pseudotumors of the larynx", Vojko Đukić (2014) - etiology of pseudotumors of the larynx</p> <p>Author of the monograph: ˝Hoarseness as a symptom of larynx disease˝ (2018), author and editor-in-chief of the university textbook ˝Etiopatogenetic aspects of cough in clinical practice˝ (2020)</p>
