I am Ekaterina Putkaradze 08.04.1998 year of birth.
 I am Georgian from Moscow. I am currently located, study and work in Moscow, Russia. First of all, I would like to introduce myself to you: My passion has always been to help people, and that is why I have chosen this meaningful and demanding profession.
I am an alumni from the Russian National Research Medical University named after N.I.Pirogov, Pediatrics. I went through residency of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of the Moscow Regional Research Clinical Institute named after M. F. Vladimirsky (61/2, bld. 1, Shchepkina str., Moscow, 129110, Russia). At the moment I work there and I’m writing my PhD dissertation. I also work in Federal state autonomous institution «National Medical Research Center for Children's Health» of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (Lomonosovsky prospekt 2, bldg. 1, Moscow, 119991, Russia) and some private clinics.

Innovation - involving more and more doctors in the development of laryngology, the search for modern treatment of laryngeal pathologies - is very important to me.
Striving for excellence, sharing of knowledge, dedication, leadership qualities, kindness and the desire to learn are all part of my professional image. A strong internal need to move up the career ladder completes my profile. In our clinic we treat such rare diseases as laryngeal amyloidosis, laryngeal chondroma, laryngeal papillomatosis, various benign formations of the larynx and
 we also provide rehabilitation for the rapid restoration of voice. I have been keen on the subject of laryngology from the time I was a student at my university. And I would like to convey this love to our audience by expanding knowledge about diseases of the larynx and the possibilities of voice rehabilitation.

I am; Prof. Dr. Selmin Karataylı Özgürsoy; graduated from Hacettepe University (Ankara, Türkiye) Faculty of Medicine, in 2002. I completed my residency training in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and became an Otolaryngology specialist in 2008. I got ECFMG certification in 2007; I also hold both European and Turkish Board Certification in Otolaryngology.

My international academic and research experience includes observership at the House Ear Institute in Los Angeles in 2003, followed by a one-year research fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Florida, in 2008. In 2010, I worked as a research fellow at the University of Michigan, and in 2013, I completed a six-month TÜBİTAK-funded research fellowship at Johns Hopkins University in Maryland. In 2017, I returned to Mayo Clinic, Florida, as a Crawford Research Fellow for one year.

Throughout my career, I have participated in numerous advanced clinical courses, cadaveric dissection courses, and professional meetings both in Türkiye and internationally. In 2014, I presented my research entitled “Dysplasia in Recurrent Respiratory Papillomatosis” at the 10th European Laryngological Congress which lead to receive the prestigious Lichtenberger Award.

I was awarded with the title of Associate Professor in 2017, in Ufuk University, Ankara, and Professor in 2023, and still work in the same institution as vice dean.

I also completed a master’s degree in Audiology, Speech and Language Disorders, and Voice Disorders at Ankara University in 2021.

Dr. Maryam Ali Al Qaydi is a Consultant Otolaryngologist–Head & Neck Surgeon and Laryngologist at Sheikh Khalifa Hospital, Fujairah, UAE. She completed fellowship training in Laryngology, Voice, and Sleep Apnea at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and holds both the Saudi Board in Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery and the European Board Certification in Otolaryngology.

She has extensive experience in postgraduate medical education, residency training, and accreditation and serves as a member of the ACGME International Review Committee for Surgical Specialties. She is also actively involved in national postgraduate medical education and accreditation through the National Institute for Health Specialties (NIHS) in the UAE.

Dr. Al Qaydi is an Adjunct Associate Professor at UAE University and Ajman University and is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. Her clinical and academic interests include laryngology, voice disorders, office-based laryngeal procedures, airway disorders, and laser applications in laryngology.

She is actively involved in the Emirates ENT Society and regularly contributes to national and international scientific meetings as an invited speaker and faculty member.

Prof. Dr. Engin Dursun was born in 1968 in Erzurum, Türkiye. He graduated from Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1991. After completing his residency training in Otorhinolaryngology at the Ankara Training and Research Hospital, Ministry of Health, in 1995, he worked as a Specialist Physician at the same institution until 2000.

Between 2000 and 2001, Dr. Dursun worked as a Senior Specialist Physician at the 3rd Department of Otorhinolaryngology of the Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital, Ministry of Health. Between 2001 and 2003, he served as Deputy Chief of Clinic in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at the Ankara Oncology Training and Research Hospital; and between 2003 and 2011, he continued in the same position at the 3rd Department of Otorhinolaryngology of the Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital. Between 2011 and 2012, he worked as an Instructor Physician in the same department.

Between 2002 and 2003, he completed a Clinical Fellowship in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA.

He was appointed Associate Professor in 2005 and promoted to Professor in 2012.

In 2012, he joined the Faculty of Medicine at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University. Between 2012 and 2021, he served as Head of the Department and as Educational and Administrative Director of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at the Training and Research Hospital. He also served as Head of the Department of Surgical Medical Sciences, Chairman of the Committee for Specialty Medical Education and Coordination, and as a Founding Board Member of the Undergraduate Medical Education Simulation Center.

In 2021, he was appointed as a faculty member in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Lokman Hekim University. He is currently serving at the same institution and continues his duties as Director of the ViTAL (Virtual Training and Learning for Healthcare) Simulation Center; Board Member of the Center for the Treatment, Application, and Research of Cleft Lip and Palate and Related Anomalies (DUDAMER); Advisory Faculty Member of the Center for Innovation in Healthcare and Simulation-Based Education (SİNERG); and Member of the Advisory Board of the Lokman Hekim Health Science Journal. Between 2021 and 2025, he also served as Head of the Department, Clinical Sciences Coordinator for Undergraduate Medical Education, and Year 5 Coordinator.

He has taken active roles in numerous professional societies in Türkiye and currently serves as a Member of the Executive Board and Chair of the Schools Committee of the Turkish Society of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. He is also the President of the Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery Association (Ankara) and a member of the General Council of the Turkish Board of Certification in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.

His special areas of interest include endoscopic surgery (endoscopic sinus surgery and endoscopic ear surgery), nasal polyposis, head and neck cancers, and medical education with a focus on simulation-based training.
