Nasal airway management in pediatric patients
Khaled Mohamed Bofares is a professor of otorhinolaryngology at Omar AL-moukhtar University – Libya. He is first consultant at AL-thawra central teaching hospital- ALbyeda city – Libya. He completed his medical doctorate (MD) degree in otorhinolaryngology- head and neck surgery as well as Master Degree in clinical pharmacology at age of 32 years from Arab medical university- Benghazi – Libya. He was a head of otorhinolaryngology- head and neck surgery department – Omar AL Moukhtar University from 2005 to 2012. He is the editorial board member as well as international reviewer at a group of well established, highly qualified, highly affected, and reputed national and international journals. He had around eighty- three publications at national and international journals, these publications including mainly original research articles in the otology, rhinology, and laser surgery fields. In addition to clinical studies as well as case reports. Moreover, he had more than 450 citations as well as around 155 peer-reviewing activities. He had been invited and shared as faculty speaker, keynote speaker, and chairperson at many national and international conferences with significant number of oral presentations, panel discussions, and poster presentations. He organized one international otorhinolaryngology conference on 2008 at Omar AL-moukhtar University. He organized a group of workshops regarding temporal bone dissection, laser in ENT, parotid gland surgery, basic audiology and hearing aiding, as well as laryngeal cancer management. He is a member of reputed societies as AAO, ERS, PARS, and IALMS…etc. He shared in authorizing of the guidelines for rhino-sinusitis and nasal polyposis management via EPOS 2020 under supervision of ERS; in addition, he shared in authorizing guidelines for ENT practices among COVID-19 patients under supervision of PARS. He proposed and designed a new instrument that is significantly important to facilitate the functional endoscopic sinus surgery performance (Bofares-middle meatal speculum). Hilbro international company established this newly invented instrument. In accordance, he had been modified nasalization technique, which is performed as eradicative and curative surgical treatment of extensive nasal polyposis as Bofares modified nasalization technique that published on 2023.

Associate Professor Raewyn Campbell is a rhinologist and skull base surgeon in Sydney, Australia. Raewyn is also a former physiotherapist/physical therapist with a post-graduate diploma in exercise and sport science. Raewyn completed 3 international fellowships in Rhinology and Skull Base surgery in Auckland, New Zealand and Philadelphia and Columbus, USA. Raewyn is the president of the Australia and New Zealand Rhinologic Society, the secretary of the Australia and New Zealand Skull Base Society and is the Australian representative on the European Rhinologic Society Advisory Board. Raewyn is the ENT research lead for the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Institute of Academic Surgery and is the ENT Associate Member Representative for the Australian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA). Raewyn is currently undertaking a PhD in ergonomics at The University of Sydney.
