Holistic Approach to CRSwNP patients: MDT Clinic Experience at a tertiary Hospital

<p>This session presents a four-year experience from a specialized multidisciplinary clinic designed to manage Chronic Rhinosinusitis with Nasal Polyps (CRSwNP). The model integrates Rhinology and immunology to offer comprehensive, coordinated care. Our session will highlight how this collaborative approach improved patient outcomes, facilitated access to biologics, and optimized treatment plans through shared decision-making.</p> <p>Outcome Objectives: By the end of this session, attendees will be able to:</p> <p>1. Explain the roles of various specialists in the multidisciplinary care of CRSwNP.<br>2. Analyze the benefits and challenges of implementing a team-based clinical model.<br>3. Recognize clinical indicators guiding the initiation of biologic therapy in CRSwNP.<br>4. Demonstrate strategies for integrating multidisciplinary collaboration in their own practice settings.</p>
<p>highlighting the importance of Holistic approach including a MDT in tailoring treatment and biologic choice for each patient and our journey so far sharing our experience in establishing the clinic and our experience with biologic medication in Saudi papoulation including demographic data and our experience in spacing biologic doses.</p>

<p>Dr. Omar Abu Suliman is a Consultant in Rhinology, Sinus & Skull Base Surgery at King Abdullah Medical City (KAMC), Makkah, Saudi Arabia. He completed his Rhinology, Endoscopic Sinus & Skull Base Surgery Fellowship at Inselspital, University of Bern, Switzerland, where he was named Best Fellow of the Year, and holds an Executive Master's in Health Services & Hospital Management from King Abdulaziz University.</p> <p>He serves as Fellowship Program Director at KAMC, Founding President and Chairman of the Saudi ORL Retreat Series, Board Member of the Saudi ORL Society, and General Secretary of the American College of Surgeons – Saudi Arabia Chapter. A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Omar is widely recognized in the Arabian Gulf Countries for his contributions to rhinology and international collaboration.</p>
