Asli Sahin Yilmaz is professor and head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at the University of the Health Sciences Kartal Dr. Lutfi Kırdar City Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey. Her areas of interest include endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery and allergy in ENT.
Prof. Dr. Ceren Günel is a former Professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Medicine and currently practices in her private clinic. Her main area of interest is rhinology, with particular expertise in endoscopic sinus surgery, skull base surgery, orbital decompression, and rhinoplasty. Throughout her academic career, she has been actively involved in educational and administrative responsibilities and continues to contribute to these fields.
Sinan Dheyauldeen, MD, PhD, is a consultant in Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Oslo / Norway. University Hospital and affiliated with the University of Oslo.
Dr. Dheyauldeen’s clinical and academic work focuses on rhinology and advanced endoscopic techniques, including sinonasal disease, skull base surgery, allergy, and sinonasal tumors. He has contributed to multiple clinical and translational studies on multidisciplinary management of complex rhinologic and skull base conditions.
His research also includes a strong focus on pediatric rhinology, particularly conditions such as choanal atresia, as well as chronic airway diseases including primary ciliary dyskinesia and cystic fibrosis, contributing to international collaborative work on sinonasal disease definitions and outcomes .
In addition, Dr. Dheyauldeen has significant expertise in epistaxis in hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT), with several clinical studies addressing disease burden, grading systems, and quality of life in affected patients . His work spans both clinical management and patient-centered outcomes in these vascular and bleeding disorders.
He is actively engaged in clinical practice, research, and academic teaching, with ongoing involvement in international collaborations and guideline development in rhinology and airway disease.
