Prof. Piotr H. Skarzynski, MD, PhD, MSc realises scientific work in the World Hearing Center of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing and Institute of Sensory Organs.

Specialist in ENT, pediatric ENT, audiology and phoniatrics, and public health. Participated in the 3<sup>rd</sup> Stakeholders Consultation meeting during which the World Hearing Forum of WHO was announced. A member of the Roster of Experts on Digital Health of WHO, Board Member and Institutional Representative of the International Society for Telemedicine and e-Health (ISfTeH), President of International Advisory Board of American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS), member of Congress and Meeting Department of European Academy of Otology and Neuro-Otology (EAONO), Regional Representative of Europe of International Society of Audiology (ISA), Vice-President of Hearring Group, Auditor of European Federation of Audiology Societies (EFAS), member of the Facial Nerve Stimulation Steering Committee, and Board Secretary of the Polish Society of Otorhinolaryngologists, Phoniatrists and Audiologists (TOFAP). Member of Hearing Committee (2018–2019), Goodwill Ambassador representing Poland at the AAO-HNSF 2021 Annual Meeting & OTO Experience, and since 2021 a member of the Implantable Hearing Devices Committee and Otology & Neurotology Education Committee of AAO-HNS. Consultant Committee of International Experts of CPAM-VBMS (for special invitation), honorary member of ORL Danube Society, and Société Française d’Oto-Rhino-Laryngologie. Member of the Council of National Science Center (NCN). Expert and member of numerous national organisations. Moreover, expert and reviewer of national and international projects, and a reviewer of national and international scientific journals, mostly with Impact Factor value.

Prof. Piotr H. Skarzynski, MD, PhD, MSc executes numerous national and international projects connected with hearing screening programs, implantable hearing devices, telemedicine, and e-health in numerous European, Asian, and African countries. 

Research interests: ENT surgery, otology, rhinology, ear reconstruction, hearing implantable devices and hearing aids, telemedicine and e-Health, robotics, tinnitus, and hearing screening in Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America.Prof. Piotr H. He graduated from the Medical Faculty of Aegean University in 1989 and completed his residency in Otolaryngology at İzmir Atatürk Education and Research Hospital in 1994. Following this, he spent a year as a research fellow in the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Pittsburgh. In 1997, he received his first academic appointment at Pamukkale University. He is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the Turkish Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery Association, the European Academy of Otology and Neurotology, the Neurotological and Equilibriometric Society, and the Mediterranean Society of Otology and Audiology. He has authored numerous articles, book chapters, and books in both Turkish and English, primarily focused on Otology and Neurotology. In recent years, his research has centered on hearing reconstruction, implants, endoscopic ear surgery, vestibular disorders, and vestibular rehabilitation.

She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Cluj Napoca in 2000 and the specialty exam in ENT in 2000 when she was admited in the university as a assistant professor in 2000. She went through the promotion stages in the university and became a professor in 2022. Since 2025 she has been the Head of the ENT Department at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj Napoca. She has participated in numerous research grants as director and member, has many publications in the field of otology.
