This study focuses on surgical techniques for correcting short nose deformity caused by congenital factors or previous rhinoplasty. Various grafting and extension methods are evaluated to restore nasal length, projection, and tip support. The aim is to achieve stable, natural, and proportionate nasal reconstruction with long-term aesthetic balance.
Dr. Shahin Bastaninejad, MD, Associate Professor of Otolaryngology at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Vice chancellor of medical education at Amir’Alam hospital for 6 years. Executive manager of several Rhinoplasty and FESS seminars at Amir’Alam hospital. Scientific faculty at several International Otolaryngology and Rhinology congresses in Iran (Tehran and Shiraz). Member of scientific committee of Rhinology and Facial plastic council in Tehran, Iran. One of the chairs in Iranian Otolaryngology council.

Dr. Burak Erdur is a board-certified otorhinolaryngologist with a subspecialty focus on rhinoplasty. He graduated from Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty in 2014. Subsequently, he completed his residency training in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty in 2019.
During his residency, he undertook an observership at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in the United States and obtained his specialist certification in 2019.
In 2022, he successfully passed both the written and oral components of the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology examination held in Vienna and was awarded the title of Fellow of the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery (FEBORL-HNS). In the same year, he was also granted the Turkish Board certification in Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.
