<p>I am an ENT surgeon and researcher specializing in the vestibular system, with a particular focus on bilateral vestibulopathy. My research focus on gait and balance impairments associated with bilateral vestibulopathy, as well as vestibular implants. I earned my PhD from Maastricht University in the Netherlands, where I was affiliated with both the Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) department and the Department of Movement Sciences. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Medicine from Guangzhou Medical University, China and a Master's degree in Otorhinolaryngology from Guangxi Medical University, China.</p>

<p>Prof. Dr. Mete İşeri was born in 1970. He was graduated from Marmara University Medical Faculty in 1994 and finished his residency at Kocaeli University in 1999. During his residency, he worked on a research scholarship at Istanbul University Çapa Faculty of Medicine in 1995 and at the ENT Department of Cincinnati University Faculty of Medicine in 1997. He became an Assistant Professor at Maltepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2002 and an Associate Professor at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine in 2008. He served as a visiting professor at Hannover University Faculty of Medicine in 2006. He was appointed to a full professorship at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine in 2013 and served as the Head of the Department between 2013 and 2015. He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association, ENT Head and Neck Surgery Association, Otology Neurotology Association, and EAONO (European Academy of Otology and Neurotology). Prof. Dr. Mete İşeri has published over 100 articles in national and international journals and spoken at over 50 national and international congresses. He has taught undergraduate courses on ear diseases, hearing implants, lateral skull base surgery, facial nerve diseases, and vertigo. His primary areas of expertise lie in these areas.</p>
