Neck Lift
09-10, 10:45–11:45 (Europe/Istanbul), Facial Plastic 1 (ICC - B2 Floor - Çamlıca)

Neck rejuvenation requires an individualized, anatomy-based approach. This panel will discuss the indications for lateral neck lifting and submental deep-neck contouring, including the management of skin laxity, platysmal descent and banding, cervical retaining ligaments, preplatysmal and subplatysmal fat, digastric muscles, and submandibular glands. Contemporary techniques—including lateral platysmal suspension, anterior platysmaplasty, and selective treatment of deep-neck structures—will be compared. The discussion will emphasize patient selection, the appropriate combination of lateral and submental approaches, complication avoidance, and strategies for achieving natural and durable cervicomental definition.

To provide an anatomy-based framework for selecting between neck lift, submental deep-neck contouring, and combined approaches, while comparing contemporary techniques and discussing complication avoidance and strategies for achieving natural, durable outcomes.
