Dr. Merve graduated from Adnan Menderes University, Faculty of Medicine, in 2019. In 2019, She started working as a research assistant at Samsun University, Faculty of Medicine, Depament of Otolaryngology. She graduated in 2025 after completing my education. The title of her graduation thesis was "The Role of BRAF V600E Mutation in the Prognosis of Laryngeal Cancer." She presented it at the 46th National ENT Congress and received an award for her presentation. In 2025, She successfully passed the Turkish Board of Otorhinolaryngology proficiency examinations held by the Turkish ENT and HNS Society and was awarded board certification.
Following her residency, She worked as an Otolaryngologist at Samsun Çarşamba State Hospital for seven months. Since November 2025, She has been working as an Otolaryngologist at Tekirdağ Çerkezköy State Hospital.
Nicolas Fakhry is a Professor of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery in Marseille, France. He is a referring surgeon for Head and Neck Surgery, Oncology and salivary glands tumors. As a clinician scientist, Nicolas Fakhry has more than 250 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. He serves on many research committees and is a reviewer for multiple scientific journals. Nicolas Fakhry is a founding member and past president of the Young-IFOS and now member of the executive committee of IFOS. He is the President of the French Society of Head and Neck Cancer (SFCCF).
