<p>I graduated from Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine in 2009. I completed my residency in Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa, Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery in 2015. I started working as a specialist in Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery in 2018 . I am still working as an associate professor at the same institution. My areas of interest are; head and neck oncologic surgery, anterior skull base surgery.</p>

<p>Dr. Ömer Bayır is an Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery specialist at Acıbadem University, Acıbadem Maslak Hospital. He graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine in 2005 and completed his residency training in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the same university in 2010. He served as an observer at the European Institute of Oncology, focusing on head and neck surgery and robotic surgery. He became an Associate Professor in 2017 and a Professor in 2026. He completed his PhD in Cancer Biology in 2026.</p> <p>Dr. Bayır has contributed chapters to both international and national books. He has presented his research at national and international conferences and has received awards at both levels. He has authored and co-authored over 100 publications and has been cited more than 600 times in national and international journals. He has served in various roles for numerous journals, including as an advisory board member and reviewer. He is a member of several national and international societies, including the European Head and Neck Society, the Asia-Pacific Society of Thyroid Surgery, and the Turkish Society of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. His main interests include head and neck surgery, transoral laser surgery (including laryngectomy procedures), transoral robotic surgery, and thyroid and parathyroid surgery.</p>

<p>Dr Matthew White is an otorhinolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon based in Cape Town, South Africa. He currently leads the Head and Neck Surgery subdivision at the University of Cape Town, where he is actively involved in clinical care, academic leadership, and surgical training.</p> <p>Dr White co-directs the Head and Neck Subspecialty Fellowship Program at the University of Cape Town together with Professor Johan Fagan, contributing to the development of advanced surgical training in the region. He also serves on the executive committees of both the South African Head and Neck Surgical Society and the African Head and Neck Society, reflecting his commitment to advancing the field across the continent.</p> <p>He has a strong interest in research and education, having contributed to textbook chapters and published in peer-reviewed journals. Dr White is also involved in international training initiatives and co-runs a Head and Neck Dissection Course in Cape Town in collaboration with the International Federation of Otorhinolaryngological Societies (IFOS).</p> <p>His work is particularly focused on improving the management of head and neck cancer in resource-limited settings, with a commitment to developing practical, high-quality surgical care and training within the context of the developing world.</p>

<p>Ozlem ER, MD is professor of medical oncolgy at Acıbadem University Acıbadem Maslak Hospital, Istanbul Turkiye.</p>

<p>Enis Ozyar M.D., graduated from Ankara University, Medical School, Ankara, Turkey in 1985 and finished his residency at Hacettepe University, School of Medicine, Department of Radiation Oncology, Ankara in 1993. He worked at the same department between 1993-2008. He obtained his associate professor degree in 1998 and professor degree in 2003. He was appointed as Chair and Professor of Radiation Oncology at the Acibadem MAA University, School of Medicine, Department of Radiation Oncology, Istanbul, Turkey in 2008. He is also charing Acibadem RTT school and Health Physics programme of Acibadem MAA University.</p> <p>Dr. Ozyar currently works at flaghship hospital – Acibadem Maslak Hospital – of the Acibadem Health Group (AHG). AHG is the largest private health care group in Turkey and have 8 Radiation Oncology centers equipped with high tech systems such as MRIdian Mr-Linac, IGRT-IMRT-SRT linac systems, robotic linacs, Gammaknife, brachytherapy and intraoperative radiotherapy.</p> <p>Dr. Özyar pioneered MR-guided adaptive radiation therapy in Turkey, an innovative approach that utilizes MRI scans, offers superior soft tissue imaging, and enhances tumor targeting compared to conventional CT scans. Under his supervision, Acibadem Healthcare Group began treatments with this system in 2018, offering Turkey's first MRI-guided radiotherapy treatments and within 5 years, it marked treatment of 1000 patients and became the 9th site worldwide to have achieved this milestone.</p>
