<p>Fikret Kasapoglu, MD is a Professor in the Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Department at Bursa Uludag University, Medical Faculty, Bursa, Turkey. He graduated from the School of Medicine, Bursa Uludag University, in 1998. He entered the Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery Residency Program at Bursa Uludag University, Medical Faculty, Bursa, becoming a Specialist in ORL & HNS in 2003. He also currently works in the same department, on surgeries, research and educational purposes. He did his military servise as an ORL & HNS specialist between 2004-2005 for 1 year period, at the Ankara Mevkii Soldier Hospital, Ankara. He visited Massacchussetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, in 2009 as an observer, at the Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery Department for 3 months. He was appointed as an Associate Professor in 2011 and as a professor in 2019. He has many articles and chapters in various national and international Journals and books.</p>
