<p>Title: Contemporary Surgical Management of Odontogenic Cysts: A Video-Based Clinical Experience</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Odontogenic cysts represent a significant clinical entity encountered in the head and neck region, frequently requiring surgical management. My video presentation will demonstrate key surgical principles, approaches, and intraoperative techniques in the management of odontogenic cysts treated . More than 30 consecutive cases operated over a clinical period will be highlighted with emphasis on surgical safety, pathology confirmation, recurrence prevention, and preservation of vital structures. Step-by-step operative footage and narrated explanations will guide viewers through decision-making and execution of marsupialization, enucleation, and combined approaches.</p> <p>Outcome Objectives</p> <p>At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to:</p> <p>1. Recognize common clinical presentations and radiologic findings of odontogenic cysts.<br>2. Evaluate indications for different surgical strategies including enucleation vs. marsupialization.<br>3. Understand perioperative considerations and complications, including nerve protection and especially sinus management.</p> <p>Background</p> <p>Although odontogenic cysts are primarily odontogenic in origin, otolaryngologists frequently encounter them due to their proximity to sinonasal and maxillofacial structures. Advances in endoscopic assistance, bone preservation, and postoperative follow-up strategies allow improved outcomes. Sharing cumulative clinical experience through real surgical footage aims to enhance understanding and refinement of best practices among head and neck surgeons.</p>
<p>The aim of this presentation will be :</p> <p>1) To demonstrate evidence-based surgical techniques and outcomes in the management of odontogenic cysts.</p> <p>2) To present key surgical approaches and clinical outcomes in treating odontogenic cysts in ENT practice.</p> <p>3) To provide concise surgical guidance and share practical experience in managing odontogenic cysts.</p> <p>4) To illustrate real operative steps and decision-making in odontogenic cyst surgery through video documentation.</p>

<p>After graduating from Marmara University School of Medicine, I completed my residency in Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the same institution. I am currently working at Marmara University as a faculty member . My special clinical and academic interests include rhinology, skull base surgery, and endocrine surgery. I have international experience in rhinology and skull base surgery, and I also received a scholarship from the European Society of Endocrine Surgeons, through which I completed advanced training in endocrine surgery at two different centers in Europe.</p>
