Managing difficult nasal airway: increasing function through septum and turbinate surgery
Dr. Ramón Moreno Luna is an ENT specialist with expertise in Rhinology and Anterior Skull Base Surgery. He serves as Professor at Loyola University and Co-Director of the Master’s Degree in Advanced Rhinology and Anterior Skull Base Surgery. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the European Rhinologic Society (ERS) and President-Elect of the 2027 European Rhinology Congress in Seville.
Prof. Dr. Gediz Murat Serin graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2000 and completed his residency in Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Marmara University in 2006. He worked within Acıbadem Healthcare Group between 2009 and 2020, contributing to the development of the Acıbadem University ENT training program. He became Associate Professor in 2013 and Professor in 2018.
His main areas of expertise include endoscopic sinus surgery, skull base surgery, and functional and aesthetic rhinoplasty. Since 2020, he has been practicing at his private clinic in Istanbul, focusing on advanced nasal and endoscopic sinus surgery.

Dr. Seth Brown is faculty at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He has been active in the American Academy of Otolaryngology as the Chair of the Rhinology and Paranasal Sinus Committee as well as the American Rhinology Society as a committee chair and board member. He ran the American Rhinologic Society Fellows course for the past 15 years and lectures internationally on sinus, skull base, and business management.
Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Gültekin graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1992. He completed his residency training in Otorhinolaryngology at Taksim Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul. Following his residency, he worked as an Otorhinolaryngology specialist at the same institution for a period.
He was subsequently appointed as the founding Chief Physician of Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University Faculty of Medicine, where he took an active role in the establishment and development of the faculty. He has held various academic and administrative positions at Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University Faculty of Medicine and currently serves as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.
He is also the President of the Eastern Thrace Society of Otorhinolaryngology Specialists. His clinical and academic work focuses particularly on rhinology and nasal surgery.
Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Gültekin is married and has two children.
