Aude Lagier, MD, PhD, is an ENT physician and phoniatrician at the University Hospital of Liège (Belgium) and Professor of Anatomy at the University of Liège. Her clinical and research activities focus on swallowing disorders, laryngeal function, and upper aerodigestive tract physiology. She leads a specialized dysphagia clinic and is actively involved in translational research on swallowing physiology and aspiration-related disorders. Her academic work combines functional anatomy, physiology, and clinical applications, with particular interest in the mechanisms underlying airway protection and swallowing.

Dr. Arzubetul Duran is an Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery specialist at Ankara Oncology Training and Research Hospital, where she has been working for more than 12 years. She completed her medical education at Dokuz Eylül University and her residency training in Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Manisa Celal Bayar University.

She holds an MSc in Audiology, Voice, and Speech Disorders from Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. She is a Fellow of the European Board of Phoniatrics, having obtained the fellowship through the European Board examination. She is currently pursuing a further MSc in Phoniatrics at Lokman Hekim University.

Her clinical and academic interests focus on phoniatrics, laryngology, and functional outcomes following head and neck cancer treatment. Her particular interests include voice and swallowing assessment and rehabilitation in patients with various cancers, as well as the integration of phoniatric approaches into head and neck oncology.

Dr. Duran is actively involved in postgraduate medical education, including teaching Otorhinolaryngology residents about the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disorders affecting voice, speech, language, hearing, and swallowing.
