Tonsillectomy or tonsillotomy for recurrent acute tonsillitis?

<p>Three RCT´s comparing tonsillectomy and tonsillotomy is corrently conducted in Germany, Finland, and Denmark. Four presentations: (1) Current management of recurrent acute tonsillitis; (2) German RCT results; (3) Finnish RCT results; (4) Danish RCT results. Concluding roundtable discussion: What did we learn from the studies? Where are we now?</p>
<p>The purpose is to provide brand new results from these RCT´s , which I believe will be of major interest to the participants.</p>
