Dr. Cömert Şen is a faculty member in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine.
He completed his medical education in 2011 and his residency training in 2018 at the same institution. Since joining the faculty in 2019, Dr. Şen's clinical practice has focused on head and neck surgical oncology and reconstruction, with particular expertise in microvascular free flap procedures.
He has authored numerous articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals and contributed to several medical textbooks. He also serves as an editorial board member and peer reviewer for scientific journals.
Dr. Şen presents regularly at national and international congresses and has served as faculty in instructional courses on head and neck surgery and reconstruction.

Leila J. Mady is an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Johns Hopkins University and Director of Head and Neck Surgery for the East Baltimore Region. A recognized surgical oncologist, Dr. Mady possesses dual expertise in ablative head and neck surgery and microvascular reconstruction. She plays a central role in leading innovations in multidisciplinary models of cancer care and clinical trials, prioritizing high-quality, coordinated, and patient-centered care.
