I am a faculty member at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, Marmara University, Istanbul, Turkey. I graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2011 and completed my residency in Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Marmara University in 2018. My primary clinical and research interest is otology, with extensive experience in chronic otitis media surgery since 2018 and cochlear implant surgery since 2022. I am also actively engaged in head and neck oncologic surgery and microvascular free flap reconstruction. I am dedicated to advancing surgical techniques in otology and contributing to multidisciplinary approaches in head and neck cancer management.
Dr. Cömert Şen is a faculty member in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine.
He completed his medical education in 2011 and his residency training in 2018 at the same institution. Since joining the faculty in 2019, Dr. Şen's clinical practice has focused on head and neck surgical oncology and reconstruction, with particular expertise in microvascular free flap procedures.
He has authored numerous articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals and contributed to several medical textbooks. He also serves as an editorial board member and peer reviewer for scientific journals.
Dr. Şen presents regularly at national and international congresses and has served as faculty in instructional courses on head and neck surgery and reconstruction.
