My name is Ömer Göktuğ Tüfekçi, I am 30 years old, operator doctor of department otorhinolaryngology.

I graduated from Uskudar American Academy in 2002 and attended Marmara University Faculty of Medicine. During my medical education I visited several cIinics at University of Pensylvania School of Medicine. I worked as a GP for 1,5 years, then in 2010 I started residency program at Marmara University Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.

My primary clinical and research interests include rhinology, olfactory disorders, endoscopic sinus surgery, and septal perforation repair. Throughout my training and professional practice, I focused on the functional and anatomical preservation of the sinonasal system and the development of minimally invasive endoscopic techniques for nasal and sinus disorders.

I have been working at Kartal Dr.Lutfi Kirdar City Hospital as consultant specialist since 2016.

I am a Professor of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at İzmir Bakırçay University Çiğli Training and Research Hospital, Turkey. My primary interests include head and neck oncology, with a focus on surgical management and prognostic factors. I have substantial experience in advanced head and neck cancer surgery and continue to contribute actively to clinical research.

PhD in Clinical Anatomy -Ankara University Anatomy - 5 year The doctoral thesis about Transnasal Anatomy of Maxillary Artery and Branches

I mainly perform rhinology and skull base surgery, including orbital and transorbital procedures, in both adults and children. I also manage a wide range of general ENT cases whenever possible, including head and neck tumors, otologic procedures, and sialoendoscopy.

Currently member of Young IFOS and Young CEORL.
