<p>Dr Mattavelli is Associate Professor in Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, University of Brescia and Vice-Director of the same school of specialization. He has been working as consultant at ASST Spedali Civili hospital since 2016. He graduated in medicine at the University of Milano-Bicocca in 2010 (110/110 cum laude) and then completed the residency program in Otorhinolaryngology at the University of Brescia in 2016 (50/50 cum laude).</p> <p>In 2020 he discussed his PhD thesis in “Technology for Health” on the project “3-D printing of biocompatible engineered polymers for personalized skull base reconstruction in endoscopic skull base surgery” at the University of Brescia. His main fields of research are endoscopic endonasal skull base surgery and head and neck cancers, with a specific focus on sinonasal, salivary gland, and oral cancers.</p> <p>He is Associate Editor in Frontiers – Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery and Editorial Coordinator of Acta Otorhinolaryngologica Italica. He won 4 international grants as Principal Investigator or co-investigator.</p> <p>He delivered 101 invited lectures in national and international congresses or courses. <p>Working at Hospital Clinic Barcelona, I am a person who loves working on the nose, teaching and meeting people. I dedicate to rhinology, skull base surgery and facial plastics. My hobbies include doing playlists, dancing and of course, share cases with colleagues.</p>

<p>Anda Gâta is a ENT consultant from Romania with interest in rhinology an skull base surgery. The main research interest is chronic rhinosinusitis, allergic rhinitis and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.</p>

<p>Dr. Katarzyna Stańska-Kowalik is an ENT specialist with a primary focus on rhinology and sleep-related breathing disorders. In 2022 she discussed her PhD thesis in “Chronic Rhinosinusitis Pathophysiology”.</p> <p>She has been an active participant and speaker at national and international rhinology conferences. She has refined her surgical and clinical skills through extensive training in Poland and abroad, attending numerous specialized courses (Warsaw, Poznań, Graz, Nijmegen, Zurich, Dubai) and completing internships in England, Switzerland and USA. Additionally, she completed an eight-month rhinology fellowship at UMC Amsterdam, where she gained advanced expertise in patient care and surgical techniques, including rhinoseptoplasties and sinus surgeries, under the mentorship of leading specialists.</p>
