Katarzyna Stańska-Kowalik
Dr. Katarzyna Stańska-Kowalik is an ENT specialist with a primary focus on rhinology and sleep-related breathing disorders. In 2022 she discussed her PhD thesis in “Chronic Rhinosinusitis Pathophysiology”.
She has been an active participant and speaker at national and international rhinology conferences. She has refined her surgical and clinical skills through extensive training in Poland and abroad, attending numerous specialized courses (Warsaw, Poznań, Graz, Nijmegen, Zurich, Dubai) and completing internships in England, Switzerland and USA. Additionally, she completed an eight-month rhinology fellowship at UMC Amsterdam, where she gained advanced expertise in patient care and surgical techniques, including rhinoseptoplasties and sinus surgeries, under the mentorship of leading specialists.

Injury to the ophthalmic artery or other orbital vessels
Early recognition is essential. Visual loss, proptosis, severe orbital pain, restricted eye movements, or rapidly increasing orbital swelling require immediate assessment and appropriate management.
