<p>Dr. Nesil Keleş Türel is a Professor of Otorhinolaryngology at the University of Istanbul</p> <p>Faculty of Medicine, and currently serves as the Chair of the Department , where she</p> <p>coordinates surgical, medical and research activities . She has previously held the</p> <p>positions of President of the Turkish Rhinology Society and Vice President of the</p> <p>Turkish Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery Association. Her principal fields</p> <p>of expertise encompass rhinology, allergy, and endoscopic sinus surgery.</p> <p>Prof. Dr. Nesil Keleş Türel, MD, is a Professor and Chair of the Department of</p> <p>Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul</p> <p>University, with more than 30 years of clinical and academic experience. Her primary</p> <p>expertise lies in rhinology, particularly chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps and</p> <p>tumors of the paranasal sinuses, and she has served as a national coordinator in</p> <p>several Phase III clinical trials on monoclonal antibody therapies for CRSwNP.</p> <p>She has held key leadership roles, including President of the Turkish Rhinologic Society</p> <p>(2011–2013) and Executive Committee Member and Vice President of the Turkish</p> <p>Society of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. She also served as General</p> <p>Coordinator of five ENT Schools between 2021 and 2023 and has organized the</p> <p>Istanbul Masterclass Endoscopic Sinus Surgery Cadaver Dissection Courses since</p> <p>1997.</p> <p>Prof. Keleş Türel has authored over 100 scientific articles and book chapters and serves</p> <p>on the editorial or advisory boards of several national and international journals,</p> <p>contributing significantly to research, education, and clinical advancement in rhinology.</p>

<p>Dr. Hakan Kara is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Istanbul University. He is also a PhD student at the Department of Immunology, Aziz Sancar Institute of Experimental Medicine. His clinical and academic work focuses on rhinology, chronic rhinosinusitis, nasal polyposis, endoscopic skull base surgery, and sinonasal tumors. His research investigates the immunopathogenesis of sinonasal inflammatory diseases, with particular emphasis on T helper cell subsets and cytokine profiling. As a physician-scientist, Dr. Kara is actively engaged in translational research integrating clinical rhinology and immunology to advance the understanding of inflammatory airway diseases and sinonasal tumors and to support the development of targeted therapeutic strategies.</p>
