The nasal tip remains one of the most critical and challenging elements in primary rhinoplasty, requiring a balance between aesthetic refinement and functional preservation. In this presentation, I will focus on contemporary surgical techniques used in tip plasty, emphasizing a tailored approach based on individual anatomy and skin type. Key suture techniques—including transdomal, interdomal, and lateral crural modification—will be reviewed alongside the strategic use of grafts such as columellar struts, shield grafts, and cap grafts. The session will also explore tip support strategies and provide a brief clinical example to illustrate the practical outcomes of the chosen techniques.
This concise presentation aims to offer attendees a structured overview of tip plasty, highlight decision-making algorithms, and provide tips to avoid common pitfalls. The goal is to help surgeons achieve stable, symmetric, and natural-looking tip definition while maintaining nasal airflow and long-term structural integrity.
