Dr. Alperen Vural is a professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty. With specialized expertise in head and neck surgery and endoscopic skull base surgery, he contributes to both clinical practice and academic research.

Dr. Vural serves as an editor for several scientific journals, including the Journal of Clinical Practice and Research and the Balkan Medical Journal, and is actively involved in peer review for numerous international publications. He has presented extensively at global conferences and has particapated as a faculty in various instructional courses on skull base surgery.

Currently, Dr. Vural is the Secretary General of the Turkish Skull Base Society. He also serves as the Co-Chair of Young–IFOS/IFOS Istanbul Congress.

Dr. Cansiz was born in Istanbul in 1983. After he graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry (Istanbul) he finished his specialty training and PhD at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry (Istanbul), Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department  and became a faculty member in the same department. He performed ENT fellowship for six months in Istanbul University, Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Otorhinolaryngology in 2015. Also he worked in Osnabruck, Germany, at Clinicum Osnabruck Department of Maxillofacial Surgery, and in London, England, at St.Georges Medical University Department of Maxillofacial Surgery as fellow. In 2022 he graduated from Bezmialem Foundation University, Faculty of Medicine and he had medical degree.  In August 2019, he received the title of Associate Professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Erol CANSIZ has been working in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine since 2019. Although Dr. Cansiz interested in all fields of modern maxillofacial surgery, his clinical focus is on orthognathic surgery and temporomandibular joint surgery.
