He became professor in Oto-Rhino-Laryngology in 2011. He worked at Ankara Research and Training Hospital, Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Research and Training Hospital and Karabük University. His Primary interest is on otology and neuro-otology. He has more than 60 articles published in international journals and more than 40 articles published in national journals. He has been invited as a speaker to numerous international and national meetings. He is member of Turkish Otorhinolaryngology Society and Turkish Otology and Neuro-otology Society and International Working Group of Endoscopic Ear Surgery ( IWGEES).

I am a faculty member in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Izmir Bakırçay University. My primary clinical and academic focus is otology, with specific interests in endoscopic ear surgery, chronic otitis and cholesteatoma surgery, otosclerosis, and cochlear implant surgery.
Ahmad Daneshi, MD, is Professor of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the ENT and Head and Neck Research Center, The Five Senses Health Institute, School of Medicine, Iran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. He completed his fellowship training in Otology and Neurotology at Baylor College of Medicine, .
Professor Daneshi is widely recognized for his leadership and longstanding contributions to the field of cochlear implantation and advanced otologic surgery. With more than 30 years of clinical experience, he has performed over 1,500 cochlear implant surgeries.
His scholarly activities encompass cochlear implantation, auditory rehabilitation, hearing disorders, and minimally invasive endoscopic ear and sinus surgery. He has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in internationally indexed journals.
He previously served as Chair of the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery for a decade.
He currently serves as President of the Iranian Society of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Esra Kavaz Uştu graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2008. She completed her residency training in Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Ondokuz Mayıs University between 2009 and 2015, followed by her compulsory state service from 2015 to 2018. Since 2018, she has been serving as an academic faculty member in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Ondokuz Mayıs University. In 2017, Dr. Uştu successfully passed the Turkish Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery Board examinations and earned board certification.
Her clinical practice is primarily focused on otology and neurotology, with particular expertise in endoscopic ear surgery, cholesteatoma surgery, cochlear implantation, and other implantable hearing device procedures. She has actively contributed to the national scientific community by delivering invited talks and participating as a speaker at numerous national congresses on these topics.
Dr. Uştu has also made sustained academic contributions across otology, rhinology, and laryngology, serving as an author and co-author on multiple peer-reviewed scientific publications. Her work reflects a commitment to evidence-based clinical practice, surgical innovation, and academic scholarship, with a continuing emphasis on improving patient outcomes through contemporary otologic and implantable hearing technologies.
