MUDr. Dagmar Hošnová, Ph.D., is a specialist in Otorhinolaryngology and Phoniatrics with a focus on pediatric audiology, hearing rehabilitation, and implantable hearing systems. She serves as Head Physician of Phoniatrics at the Department of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology, University Hospital Brno, and the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University.

She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University, Brno, in 2005, obtaining the degree of Doctor of Medicine (MUDr.). In 2012, she completed her board certification in Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. In 2016, she earned her Ph.D. degree in the same field at the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University. In 2017, she completed subspecialty certification in Phoniatrics at the Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education in Prague.

Since August 2005, she has worked at the Department of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology, University Hospital Brno and Masaryk University as an Assistant Professor and Head Physician of Phoniatrics.

In addition to her clinical practice, she has been actively involved in teaching since 2012. She regularly teaches medical students at the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University, and also participates in the education of students at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University.

Her research activities focus primarily on hearing rehabilitation using implantable systems in children, electrically evoked auditory brainstem responses (eABR), and the ototoxic effects of chemotherapy in pediatric patients. Her professional work combines clinical care, research, and education with the aim of improving the diagnosis and treatment of hearing disorders in children.

Iman Sadek is a Professor of Audiovestibular Medicine, Otolaryngology Department, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University and received her Master’s and Doctorate degrees at the same university. She is a senior staff member in the Cochlear Implant Clinics of Ain Shams University hospitals and has valuable publications in this field. She has a special interest in the field of pediatric audiology, evaluation and rehabilitation of hearing-impaired children (hearing aid or cochlear implant users), and patients with different hearing disorders, autism spectrum, and special needs.

She conducted much research on Auditory Evoked Potentials, pediatric hearing, pediatric hearing aid fitting, and neonatal hearing screening. Presently, she is a member of the International Association of Physicians in Audiology (IAPA), of the Egyptian Audio-Vestibular Medicine Association (EAVMA), and of the Egyptian Society of Otorhinolaryngology. She is a board member and co-founder of the Nida Society for the rehabilitation of hearing-impaired children (hearing aids and cochlear implant users).

She is the executive manager of the Egyptian audio-vestibular guidelines in collaboration with the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities. She is a reviewer in the Egyptian Journal of Ear, Nose, Throat and Allied Sciences (EJENTAS), in the Otolaryngology journal (open access), and in the Egyptian Journal of ORL. She is a reviewer in the Egyptian University Higher Board committee for the promotion of professors and assistant professors in Audiovestibular Medicine.

He became professor in Oto-Rhino-Laryngology in 2011. He worked at Ankara Research and Training Hospital, Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Research and Training Hospital and Karabük University. His Primary interest is on otology and neuro-otology. He has more than 60 articles published in international journals and more than 40 articles published in national journals. He has been invited as a speaker to numerous international and national meetings. He is member of Turkish Otorhinolaryngology Society and Turkish Otology and Neuro-otology Society and International Working Group of Endoscopic Ear Surgery ( IWGEES).
