Prof. Dr. Fatma Tülin Kayhan graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1990. She completed her specialist training at Bezmialem Vakıf Gureba Hospital ENT Clinic in 1994. She worked as a specialist doctor at Bakırköy State Hospital and Bezmialem Vakıf Gureba Hospital, and as a chief assistant at Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital.
She received the title of Associate Professor in 2004 and the title of Professor in 2010.
She served as the Deputy Provincial Health Director between 2005-2008.
She worked as the Clinic Chief, Education and Administrative Officer at the ENT Clinic at Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital between 2005-2017.
In 1996, he worked as a Research Fellow at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary (MEEI) of Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA. He conducted scientific research in the fields of Otology (Ear diseases), Rhinology (Nose and sinus diseases) and Pediatric Otolaryngology (Pediatric Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases).
Then, he worked on the histopathology of the human ear as a Research Fellow at the Temporal Bone Laboratory of the University of Minnesota.
In 2008, he received Da Vinci Transoral Robotic Surgery training at the IRCAD robotic surgery training center in Strasbourg, France. He provides Transoral Robotic Surgery training to local and foreign Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases, Head and Neck Surgery specialists in our country. Today, he is one of the most experienced Expert Robotic surgeons in the world with over 500 successful Transoral robotic surgery case series.
Prof. Dr. Fatma Tülin Kayhan continues her academic studies by editing and writing articles for many books and scientific journals in English and Turkish. She is the editor and author of the Turkish book “Olgularla Ear Nose and Throat Diseases”. She is the author of the chapter “Robot-Asisted Surgery Around the Nose” in the English book “All Around the Nose: Basic Science, Diseases and Surgical Management” prepared by international authors and published by Elsevier. She also wrote the chapters “Robotic Surgery” in the books “ENT and BCC Specialist Training Resource Book” and “Sleep Apnea Diagnosis and Treatment” and the chapters “Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome and Current Treatment Approaches” in the book “Multidisciplinary Principles Oral Diagnosis”.
She is the founder and editor of the journal “ENT Practices” (Praxis of Otorhinolaryngology) on behalf of the Istanbul ENT Specialists Association.
In 2012, he was the Issue Editor of the 25th volume 4th issue of the journal “Klinik Gelişim” (Clinical Development).
Prof. Kayhan has 81 current international (English) and 63 national (Turkish) scientific articles. He has been an invited speaker in many international and national congresses and is still scientific. He shares his knowledge and experience with his colleagues at meetings.
Sabit Kunter Berkay Şerifoğlu, MD, is a specialist in Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery currently working at Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University Mengücek Gazi Education and Research Hospital. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and completed his residency training in Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Akdeniz University. Following his residency, he worked at Antalya City Hospital before assuming his current position. His main clinical and academic interests include sleep surgery and the surgical management of obstructive sleep apnea, with a particular focus on transoral robotic surgery. His residency thesis focused on robotic surgery in obstructive sleep apnea. In November 2024, he was certified as a Fellow of the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery (FEBORL-HNS).

Professor Metin Yılmaz, MD, is a Professor of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1994 and completed his residency training in otorhinolaryngology at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1999. Following his residency, he served as a founding faculty member in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University before continuing his academic career at Gazi University. Promoted to professor in 2014, Professor Yılmaz currently serves as Chair of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Gazi University.
His principal clinical interests are rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty. His other clinical and academic interests include sleep-disordered breathing and upper airway surgery, swallowing and voice disorders, robotic surgery, head and neck oncology, skull-base surgery, and vestibular disorders.
Professor Yılmaz is actively involved in medical and postgraduate education. With an extensive scientific publication record, he continues to contribute to his field through invited lectures, professional courses, and thesis supervision. His ongoing work focuses on clinical research, surgical education, and multidisciplinary patient care.
Prof.Dr. Murat Timur Akçam graduated from GATA Military Medical Faculty in 1992 and completed his residency training at the Ankara GATA Military Medical Faculty, Department of Otolaryngology (ENT) in 1998. After serving as an ENT specialist in Diyarbakır, he began working as an Assistant Professor at the GATA ENT Department in 2000. In 2003, he spent a year at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU), Department of Otolaryngology, Division of Facial Plastic Surgery, receiving specialized training in facial-nasal aesthetics and reconstruction. He successfully passed his examinations and was appointed as an Associate Professor at the GATA ENT Department in 2007.
In 2015, he retired by his own request and started practicing at Ankara Medicalpark Hospital. In 2018, he was appointed as a Professor at the Istinye University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Otolaryngology, where he continued his academic and clinical work as the Head of the Department. His special areas of interest include sleep medicine, functional and aesthetic nose surgery, and skin tumors. He has an academic background with 42 articles published in international peer-reviewed journals and 34 articles in national peer-reviewed journals.
