Temporary tracheotomy in Transoral Robotic Surgery(TORS): a proposal of decision-making algorithm.

<p>Currently, no guidelines or flowcharts exist to accurately identify patients who would mostly benefit from preventive tracheotomy during TORS. Therefore reviewing and analysing our robotic surgical experience, an institutional flowchart was developed for selecting patients who benefit or not a preventive may be developed with the collected findings.</p>

<p>I was born on March 1, 1978, in Tokat, Erbaa. I graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2002. I completed my residency training in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine.</p> <p>After completing my compulsory service, I worked at Bağcılar Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul, where I served as a chief resident for six years and was subsequently promoted to Associate Professor.</p> <p>For the past five years, I have been working as an attending physician and academic staff member in the ENT Clinic at Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital in Istanbul.</p>
