Prof. Abdullah Dalgic is the Founding Chair and Clinical Director of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery,
Director of the Cochlear Implant Center at Izmir City Hospital.
He was appointed full Professor of Otorhinolaryngology after completing his medical and residency training, along with an M.Sc. in Audiology and Speech Disorders at Ege University.
Prof. Dalgic serves in key leadership roles, including:
General Secretary, Turkish Society of Otology and Neurotology
Board Member, Turkish Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Society
Vice President, Aegean ENT-HNS Association
His main clinical focus encompasses otology, neurotology, endoscopic ear surgery, cochlear implantation, audiology, facial plastic surgery, and head and neck oncology. He has published over 60 articles in international peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Chen graduated from National Yang-Ming Chiao Tung University and spent his fellowship at the Department of Otolaryngology, Taipei Veterans General Hospital, Taipei, Taiwan. Dr. Chen was a chairman of Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, Cheng Hsin General Hospital, Taipei,1996-2014; and chief of Department of Cochlear Implantation, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, New Taipei City, Taiwan, 2014-2020. Currently, Dr Chen has served as a deputy superintendent at Holistic Hearing Healthcare Center, China Medical University Hospital, TaiChung, Taiwan, since May/ 2020.
