Master of Video Session- Retrofacial approach in CI
Abdullah Dalgic, Rasim Yılmazer

In cases of anteriorly placed facial nerve, narrow facial recess, ossified cochlea and difficult round window or basal turn identification, retrofacial approach can be used to reach the round window and basal turn and help placing the electrode through a second direction similar with basal turn. Since I have a paper about this subject- the feasibility of retrofacial approach in cochlear implantation-, I can show this approach in a couple of cases.
