Minimally Invasive Secondary Rhinoplasty in Over-Resected Noses without Rib Grafts
09-12, 11:30–12:00 (Europe/Istanbul), Facial Plastic 4

Cartilage is the most necessary material for grafting in secondary rhinoplasty cases with over-resection, addressing multiple structural and surface defects. However, selecting the ideal graft has been a concern due to donor site morbidity and potential issues like graft visibility, irregularities, infection, and inflammatory reactions. Advances in facial plastic surgery have led to the development of special techniques to reduce donor site morbidity using autografts. By combining open and endoscopic approaches, we can provide sufficient support for structural and camouflage purposes exclusively using non-rib sources, resulting in minimal morbidity and successful outcomes.
