Dr. Norasnieda Md Shukri is a distinguished academic and clinician in the field of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery (ORL-HNS). She obtained her Medical Degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2004 and completed her specialist training with a Master of ORL-HNS from the same institution in 2013. She currently serves as a lecturer and consultant at USM, where she has played a pivotal role in clinical education and surgical practice.
Her early career in general ORL-HNS provided broad exposure across subspecialties, laying the foundation for her focused pursuit in Rhinology, Allergy, and Skull Base Surgery. In 2017, she advanced her expertise through fellowship training at the Endoscopic Nasal and Sinus Surgery Center, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.
Dr. Norasnieda is an active contributor to the academic community, with publications in peer-reviewed journals and frequent speaking and moderating roles at national and international scientific meetings. Her clinical interests include infective rhinology, endoscopic sinus surgery, and complex skull base pathology.
She currently holds the position of Honorary Secretary of the College of Otorhinolaryngologists, Malaysia, where she plays a pivotal role in the professional development and governance of the society. Her career reflects a deep commitment to excellence, collaboration, and innovation in ORL-HNS.
