Mastoid obliteration for middle ear cholesteatoma surgery

<p>middle ear Cholesteatoma’s treatment, exclusively surgical, is not unanimous among all. Certainly the progress of medicine in the last century has made a giant leap from classic open techniques with destruction of the middle ear and its structures towards a preservation of this organ, particularly auditory function when it is not deteriorated by the disease itself.</p> <p>In this lecture we will try to discuss the obliteration technique of the mastoid and epitympanum in middle ear cholesteatoma surgery.</p>
