Mastoid obliteration for middle ear cholesteatoma surgery
09-12, 08:30–09:00 (Europe/Istanbul), Otology 6

middle ear Cholesteatoma’s  treatment, exclusively surgical, is not unanimous among all. Certainly the progress of medicine in the last century has made a giant leap  from classic open techniques with destruction of the middle ear and its structures towards a preservation of this organ, particularly auditory function when it is not deteriorated by the disease itself.

In this lecture we will try to discuss the obliteration technique of the mastoid and epitympanum in middle ear cholesteatoma surgery.
