Prof. İlker Burak Arslan, MD, is Professor of Otorhinolaryngology at the University of Health Sciences, İzmir Faculty of Medicine, where he currently serves as Chair of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and completed his residency training at İzmir Tepecik Training and Research Hospital, where he subsequently continued his academic and clinical career. He currently practices at İzmir City Hospital, one of the largest tertiary referral centers in Türkiye.

Prof. Arslan has extensive clinical and surgical experience across the field of otorhinolaryngology, with particular expertise in advanced otologic and hearing implant surgery, complex middle ear surgery and head and neck oncologic surgery. Alongside his surgical practice, he is actively involved in clinical research, postgraduate education, and the training of ENT residents and young surgeons.
