Lesions of the infratemporal fossa represent a major challange due to the regions’s complex anatomy. Common pathologies include schwannomas, meningiomas, malignancies, salivary gland lesions, petrous apex leasions extending inferiorly, fibro-osseous lesions, giant cell granulomas and other local agressive mesenchymal tumors. Choosing the right approach is very impportant to reduce the morbidity and postoperative recurrences. The aim of this presentation is to improve patient selection for each approach, reduction in cranial nerve morbidity and vascular injuries with high rate of gross total resection and improve oncologic outcomes.
