This study proposes an algorithmic approach to guide surgical planning in dorsal preservation rhinoplasty. By systematically evaluating anatomical variations, hump morphology, and tip-dorsum relationships, the model aims to optimize patient-specific technique selection. The research seeks to improve predictability, aesthetic outcomes, and functional preservation through structured intraoperative decision-making.

Dr. Ahmedli was born in Baku, Azerbaijan. At age 5, she and her family moved to Los Angeles, where she spent her childhood.
She attended Brown University as part of the prestigious Program in Liberal Medical Education, which combines undergraduate studies and medical school with direct admission from high school. She studied Neuroscience and art history in college, graduating magna cum laude. She graduated from medical school with honors as part of Alpha Omega Alpha. She then completed a residency in Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City followed by a competitive fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in upstate New York.
Dr. Ahmedli was part of the Montefiore/Albert Einstein Department of Otolaryngology as Division Director of Facial Plastic Surgery prior to joining Saman Facial Plastic Surgery. She has published extensively on facelift surgery along with the experts in the field. Her training and work in academic medicine as well as aesthetic surgery has made her a highly skilled surgeon.
Dr. Gunhan is an ORL professor at Celal Bayar Univesity and private practice, dedicated to education, research and patient centered care and contemporary surgical techniques focused on rhinology. He has clinical and experimental studies mostly on rhinoplasty (mostly revision), paranasal sinus diseases, allergy, olfactory loss and sleep disorders that he also provides comprehensive services. He is a distinguished member of many ORL societies and currently is the Secretary General of Turkish Facial Plastic Surgery Society.
