This study reflects on personal surgical experiences to identify the key factors influencing successful rhinoplasty outcomes. By analyzing complications and suboptimal results, it aims to highlight technical and judgmental errors that can be prevented. The goal is to formulate evidence-based strategies to improve aesthetic and functional results in future rhinoplasty practice.
Prof Jang is a world-renowned expert in Asian rhinoplasty. His clinical interests are also on the treatment of empty nose syndrome and HHT. He published over 160 SCI papers as corresponding or first author. He received multiple awards from the US, Europe, Asia, and Korea.
