Prof. Marco Caversaccio is chairman of the Department of ENT, Head and Neck Surgery at the University Hospital in Bern (Switzerland) since 2009. Since 14 years he is additionally Vice-Director of the ARTORG Research Center for Biomedical Engineering Research. Dr. Caversaccio is a wellknown technology expert for the development and implementation of novel surgical techniques and systems in the area of Otology, Rhinology and Skull Base. He has conducted First in Man studies like the Robotic Cochlea implantation. He is member of the Swiss, German, French societies for ENT, of the American Academy of ORL and of the Collegium ORL Amicitiae Sacrum

Vedat Topsakal is an otologist. He is born in the Netherlands but is Turkish.
Since being recognized as an Otorhinolaryngologist he has been focussed only on otology working in the Netherlands and Belgium in different centers. Robotic Cochlear Implant surgery has become a reserach focus over the last years.

l Graduated from Shanghai Second Medical University in 2005 with a MD degree of Otorhinolaryngology
l Obtained Ph.D of Neuroscience from Faculty of Medicine at the University of Montpellier 1 in 2012
l Accomplished postdoctoral research at laboratory of minimally invasive robotic surgery for hearing rehabilitation, UMR-S1159 of INSERM / University of Paris 6 in 2017.
