Dr. Yvonne Chan is a Professor, Vice-Chair of Education, and Director of Continuing Professional Development in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto, and serves as Otolaryngologist-in-Chief at St. Michael’s Hospital. She completed advanced fellowship training in rhinology and anterior skull base surgery in both the United States and Australia.
Since 2015, Dr. Chan has served as co-editor of the internationally recognized textbook K. J. Lee’s Essential Otolaryngology, now in its 13th edition. She has also co-edited several other authoritative texts, including Essential Rhinology and Allergy (Volumes 1 and 2) and Rhinology and Allergy: A Clinical Reference Guide.
Dr. Daniel Lee is a rhinologist and skull base surgeon in the Division of Rhinology in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto. He completed his residency training at the University of Toronto before pursuing an advanced fellowship in rhinology and endoscopic skull base surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Lee’s clinical and academic focus is in advanced rhinology and endoscopic skull base surgery. He has specific focus in the use of artificial intelligence in the field of rhinology and skull base surgery in addition to clinical outcomes and epidemiological studies
Dr Christopher J Chin attended medical school and residency in London, Ontario at Western University. He subsequently completed his fellowship in Rhinology, Anterior Skull Base Surgery, and Head and Neck Oncology at the University of Toronto. He is the former Division Head of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Dalhousie University.
After completing his fellowship in rhinology and anterior skull base surgery in Toronto, he helped launch the New Brunswick Neuropituitary clinic as well as the Multidisciplinary Airway Clinic for treatment of complex sinus disease in Saint John. He has since relocated to Halifax where he serves as the Residency Program Director for Otolaryngology as of April 2025. Dr Chin has published over 45 peer-reviewed papers, 3 textbook chapters and is former chair of the Rhinology subgroup of the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology.
