Founder at R Debré Hospital (1991) of a pilot unit for functional exploration of balance disorders in children (EFEE), specialized in vestibular assessment in young children (vertigo, delay in postural and motor development, deafness and pre- and post-cochlear implant).</p> <p>Since 2022, Research at the Pasteur Institute (CERIAH) and Hearing Institute (IDA) on presbycusis and presby-vestibulopathy.Responsible with Pr H.Thaivan for an inter-university diploma (Lyon-Paris) since 2015.</p> <p>President of the IPBN (International pediatric balance disorders Network), member of the Bàràny Society.</p>

<p>Dr. Gorkem Ertugrul specializes in pediatric vestibular assessment and rehabilitation. In 2017, she visited the pediatric vestibular clinic in Hospital Robert Debré, Paris, France, and worked with Dr. Sylvette Wiener-Vacher for three months. In 2023, she received the title of Associate Professor in Audiology. In 2024, as part of the TUBITAK 2219 postdoctoral research scholarship, she worked on rare forms of BPPV with Prof. Luigi Califano at San Pio Hospital in Benevento, Italy, for six months. Currently, she is working at Hacettepe University as an academic staff member.</p>
