Abdelrahman Ezzat Ibrahim
Mr. Abdelrahman Ezzat Ibrahim is a dual-qualified Consultant ENT Surgeon and Healthcare Executive at United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, where he also serves as ENT Educational Lead. His clinical practice encompasses the full breadth of otolaryngology, with subspecialty interests in otology and facial plastic surgery.
Mr. Ibrahim holds an MBA in Hospital Management alongside his FRCS (ORL-HNS) clinical fellowship, providing a rare combination of surgical excellence and strategic leadership. He is a Fellow of the European Board in Otorhinolaryngology (FEB ORL-HNS) and serves as an Examiner for the European Board Examination in ORL-HNS (EBEORL-HNS) since 2022, actively shaping the assessment and development of ENT specialists across Europe.
His clinical and academic work focuses on advancing minimally invasive ear surgery techniques, particularly total endoscopic ear surgery (TEES) for cholesteatoma, to improve patient outcomes and surgical precision. He has published extensively more tahn 46 papers in peer-reviewed journals with over 170 citations and an H-index of 7, and is a contributing author to the forthcoming Springer volume Clinical Cases in Endoscopic Ear Surgery.

The conflict among otologists about the role of using endoscopes in the field is endless. The presentation will reveal the role of endoscopy in variable otological and neurotological procedures to gain the maximum benefits of using both tools for lowering morbidities and improving the results of the operations. Many videos of different procedures will be played to highlight the dual endo-microscopic approach for different pathologies in otology and neurotology fields.
