<p>Dr. Anand Raju is a Senior Otorhinolaryngologist and one of India's foremost specialists in cochlear implantation, sleep apnoea surgery, and advanced otology, with more than two decades of distinguished experience in ENT surgery across leading tertiary hospitals and academic institutions. He currently serves as Head of the Department of ENT at Kauvery Multispeciality Hospital, Radial Road, Chennai; Chief ENT Surgeon and Cochlear Implant Coordinator at Anand ENT Hospital, Coimbatore; Visiting Professor in Cochlear Implant and Sleep Surgery at PSG Medical Center, Coimbatore; and Adjunct Faculty in Sleep Surgery at Mahatma Gandhi Medical College, Pondicherry.</p> <p>Dr. Raju obtained his MBBS from Madurai Medical College and completed his MS in ENT at Government Rajaji Hospital, Madurai, under Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. He subsequently earned the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in ENT and the prestigious MNAMS from the National Academy of Medical Sciences. To further enhance his expertise, he underwent international training at renowned institutions, including the Stanford Sleep Surgery Clinic, California; Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, UK; Leiden University Medical Center, the Netherlands; and completed advanced cochlear implant training at Cochlear headquarters in Sydney and MED-EL headquarters in Innsbruck.</p> <p>Over the course of his career, Dr. Raju has established himself as a leading authority in cochlear implantation, otology, and sleep surgery. He has played a key role in the development of hearing restoration and sleep-disordered breathing management through his clinical expertise, academic contributions, and commitment to innovation. He is actively involved in teaching, mentoring, and training ENT surgeons, while also contributing to research and the advancement of evidence-based clinical practice.</p> <p>A highly respected faculty member and invited speaker, Dr. Raju regularly participates in national and international conferences, workshops, and educational programs.
