Dr. Gherasie is an otologic surgeon, academic faculty member, and pioneer of exclusive endoscopic ear surgery in Romania.

She practices at the “Prof. Dr. D. Hociota” Institute of Phonoaudiology and Functional ENT Surgery and is affiliated with Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest. Her work focuses on performing complex procedures, including advanced tympanoplasty, cholesteatoma surgery, stapedotomy, and middle ear vascular tumors, expanding minimally invasive otologic surgery while integrating patient-reported outcome measures into surgical evaluation.
