This study emphasizes the critical role of the septal extension graft in achieving stable tip projection and definition in Asian rhinoplasty. Due to the weaker cartilage framework and thicker skin envelope in Asian noses, SEG provides essential structural support and long-term shape control. The research aims to assess its effectiveness in maintaining aesthetic balance and functional stability postoperatively.
This study analyzes the anatomical and aesthetic considerations essential for successful septorhinoplasty in Asian patients. Emphasis is placed on structural reinforcement, dorsal augmentation, and tip projection tailored to ethnic nasal characteristics. The aim is to define key surgical principles that achieve natural, balanced, and culturally appropriate outcomes.
