Prof. Dr. Özgür Yiğit is Professor and Chair of Otolaryngology at the University of Health Sciences, Çam and Sakura City Hospital, Istanbul, Türkiye. He also serves as General Director of the institution.
He completed his medical education at Istanbul University and his residency in Otolaryngology at Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty. Prof. Yiğit is the President of the International Federation of Otorhinolaryngological Societies (IFOS) 2026.
He has held leadership roles in the Turkish Society of ORL-HNS and the Central and West Asian ORL-HNS Association.
His primary clinical and academic interests include otology, neurotology, hearing implants, and advanced ear surgery, with extensive experience in cochlear implantation.
